Deal Highlights:
This Class A office tower is situated on a hill and has a curved glass exterior for maximum views of the adjacent Chattahoochee National Forest and Chattahoochee River. 2000 RiverEdge is a 12-story building comprising 10 floors and two garden levels. Built in 1985, the building offers parking in an adjacent five-level parking deck.
The purchase of 2000 RiverEdge, and its sister building 2100 RiverEdge, were Mainstreet’s first acquisition in Atlanta, in the attractive Northwest submarket. These high quality assets were acquired at a discount to cost and provide significant upside potential.
In addition to pricing, the appeal of the purchase included the buildings’ familiarity to Mainstreet’s President, Paul Kilgallon, who previously purchased both 2000 and 2100 RiverEdge during his tenure at CMD Realty Investments, as well as the recent completion of over $4.0 million in capital improvements.
